Why skills sections are unreliable
Candidates know that keyword filters read the skills section, so they list every tool they have touched. A resume listing Python, Kubernetes, React and TensorFlow may reflect years of use or a weekend tutorial. Keyword-based screening cannot tell the difference, so it ranks them the same.
What counts as verified
A skill is well supported when the resume shows it in use:
